When Haydn Orchestra plays at the Haydnsaal, there are only
two Double Basses. One is always the principal Player, Mr. Franz Bauer. The other is
sometimes changed. Mr. Alajos Horwarth is one of these players. He is Hungarian and
lives in Budapest. He is a member of the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra and plays at the
Budapest National Opera House.
He is a father of five boys and sometimes can be seen walking in Eisenstadt with his
family.
