The number of musicians of the Haydn Orchestra who
come from the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra has recently grown. Mrs.
Andrea Igaz is one of them. Although she plays second violin in the Haydn
Orchestra, she is the assistant principal first violinist of her regular
Orchestra.
Mrs. Igaz and Adam Fischer share the same hobby :
they both collect Hungarian palindromes. A palindrome is a word, phrase,
number or other sequence of units that has the property of reading the same
in either direction. During the short intermission of rehearsals, they both
discuss seriously Hungarian sentences. According to Adam Fischer, he is a
little better than she. When she hears it, she might say “Mad at Adam” (this
is an English palindrome)
