Ms. Annett Homoki, who lives in Vienna is a member of
Volksoper orchestra. She is Hungarian and studied music in Budapest. She sometimes works
as principal viola player of the Haydn Orchestra.
She speaks Hungarian, German and English fluently and takes the very important role of
communication between the Austrian and Hungarian players. Not only languages, but
mentality and social systems are different between two countries. Therefore she attends
the management meeting of the Haydn Orchestra to make sure all the musicians understands
what is going on.Next year Hungary becomes a part of EU. Her role in the orchestra will
be increasingly musical as well as communication.
