The very important member of Haydn Orchestra's violin
section, Mr. Jozsef Modrian is one of best orchestral players in Hungary. He was the long
time concertmaster of the Hungarian National Philharmonic and now he has moved to the
Budapest Radio Symphony Orchestra. With a lot of experience of a concertmaster, he
sometimes leads the Haydn Orchestra, too.
Many of the Hungarian musicians of Haydn Orchestra love to discuss the political
situation in Hungary. As one of the few centrists, he mediates between the supporters of
the left party and the right party.
