The Oboe player Mr. Thomas Höniger was born in Vienna in 1964, and studied at the college for music and performing arts in Vienna, later at Graz under Professor G. Turetschek of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 1989 he is a member of the Austria Radio Symphony Orchestra, Vienna.

Not only in a big orchestra, Mr. Höniger plays with various chamber music ensemble, for example, the Vienna Wind Octet and ORF Wind Quintet.
