The Haydn Orchestra uses traditional the Viennese Oboe.  Mr. Harald Hörth is one of very few player of this special instrument. 

He joined the Haydn Orchestra in 1997.  He is also the principal oboe player of Vienna Symphony Orchestra.  Together with Horn player Mr. Martin Bramböck, he is also active in chamber ensemble quintett.wien.

There are so many Haydn Symphonies with beautiful oboe solos.  We can hear his beautiful solos in Symphony No. 38.
