The youngest violinist of the Haydn Orchestra, Mrs. Katalin
Fenyö, is currently acting as a freelance musician in Hungary. In February she
visited Japan with the Budapest Operetta Theater Orchestra. The performances were a
great success all over Japan. She studied violin in Hungary, after that she went to the
USA and studied at Yale university for a few years. So she is one of few English
speakers among the Hungarian musicians of the Haydn Orchestra.
Not just a violinist, she is active as the vice-president of the Hungarian-Slovakian
Friends Association which Adam Fischer is currently the president. She contributes
to the friendship of the two countries facing each other across the Danube River.
