Martin Bramboeck - Horn

Martin Brambock

The first horn player of the Haydn Orchestra, Mr. Martin Bramböck was the member of the Vienna Volksoper Orchestra and often played in the orchestra pit for operettas. He resigned few years ago and now he is active as an extra musician with musical organisations including the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. At the same time, he teaches music at the Josef Haydn Conservatory of Eisenstadt. In addition to these activities, he is a member woodwind ensemble "quintett.wien" together with oboe player Harold Hölt and flautist Hansgeorg Schmeiser.

His favorite food is Japanese noodle soup "Ramen". Especially he likes "Miso" taste. When he visited Japan with Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, he spent more than $100 for ingredients of Miso-Ramen. Unfortunately, during the long flight back to his home, the food had gone bad and he could not eat anything. So, he is really hoping to visit Japan with the Haydn Orchestra someday.

He has been playing with Haydn Orchestra since 1992.   His performance is played many of Symphonies especially No. 31 "Hornsignal" and No. 73 "La Chasse".
