Viola player Mrs. Valeria Soltís belongs Budapest Opera Orchestra and had
been working at the pit of Budapest Operahouse as a principal violist more than 20 years. Her
husband Mihály is the principal timpani player of Hungarian State Symphony
Orchestra. At the concert he plays with strict face but in fact he is a kind person.
Here is a very funny episode. One day, a letter was delivered to Mihaly.
The sender was the lady lives in England who met him during the tour of Hungarian State
Symphony Orchestra. There was a picture of her and baby enclosed. When Varelia
saw it, she misunderstood that Mihaly had love affair and was very up-set. It took
few days to solve the misunderstanding.
