Both Hilde and Hannes Vogel belong to the Vienna Volksoper Orchestra and have been playing with the Haydn Orchestra since its foundation. Violinist Hilde sometimes plays as leader of the second violin section. Tall and slim as she is, some of the audiences are always very happy when she sits at the center of the stage, as second violin.

Hannes is a percussion player who has to wait long during the performance. If he misses one note, it may be a disaster for the concert. During a rehearsal, Hannes looks relaxed. Sometimes he reads a magazine but he always listens to the music and counts bars unconsciously. He suddenly picks up a stick and hits one big note, then resumes reading. It is quite amazing. He now gets used to waiting but even he was so nervous at his debut performance that he counted all the bars of the "Barber of Seviglia".

Hilde and Hannes have tow sons and a daughter born in April 2, 2000.  Thier oldest son, 4 years old, is already a good jazz drummer with his toy.
