Editorial Note
Adam Fischer and the Haydn Orchestra were very busy during in May and June.
Since this is the Haydn year, so many orchestras play Haydn’s works all over the
world. But in even major cities, it is only limited to handful of major works
like the London symphonies and the oratorio “The Creation”. Haydn’s important
works, for example the Baryton trios and operas, must be played more frequently
and regularly. The Haydn Festspiele in Eisenstadt is planning various series of
concerts this year. We hope that there will be more Haydn fans after this year.
In the next issue, we will report on the Salzburg Festival and the
International Haydntage.
